In the "Transfers" section, elements can be transferred to a new owner. The transfer includes any information about the element, as well as documents with the visibility types "public" and "not public". Documents with the visibility type "Within the company" cannot be transferred to a new owner and remain visible only to members of the organisation that originally uploaded them.
- Click "Transfers" in the left menu to open the overview of the element transfers to another person:
- Click on a row to view the transfer information.
Transfer ownership of an element
- In the explorer, project, or directory, click the three dots menu to the right of an element.
- Select "Transfer ownership":
- Enter the new owner's email address and click "Send":
- In the next window, click "Send" to confirm the process:
- A message will appear once the transfer has been successfully completed. The new owner will receive an email from the SimplyTag system:
- After the new owner clicks "To ownership request", he will be directed to the login page.
- After signing in, the new owner will be directed to a page with information about the transfer, where he can accept or decline the transfer of the element:
- Once the new owner has confirmed the transfer, the status of the element will change from "Email sent" to "Accepted" in the "Transfers" section:
