Dongle configuration

Update dongle driver

  • Open the download page of the dongle supplier Thales: https://dongle.orgadata.com.
  • Click on the "DOW" link next to "Click here to download file" to download the latest dongle driver as a ZIP file.
  • Read the End user license agreement and agree to it at the bottom of the page.
  • Save and unzip the download file.
  • Run the "HASPUserSetup.exe" file.

Single-user USB dongle

With a single-user licence, you receive a single-user USB dongle with your program installation.

  • The USB dongle must be connected to your computer before the program is installed.
  • After installation, the software needs constant connection to the USB dongle.

Server USB dongle

With a server licence, you receive a server USB dongle with your program installation.

  • The USB dongle must be connected to your server before the program is installed.
  • The dongle driver must be installed on all devices in the network.
  • All clients in the network require a constant connection to the server USB dongle and the program directory.
  • The "Sentinel LDK License Manager" service is installed by the driver setup and must always run in the background.
  • If clients and server are in the same subnet, the dongle driver installation on the involved clients and server is sufficient. If the dongle and clients are in different subnets, IP forwarding must be set up:
    • Open the page http://localhost:1947/_int_/config_to.html
    • Enter the following address structure in the field "Remote License Search Parameters":
      • of.servers.withdongle.domainname.extension
      • address.of.serverswithdongle
