Program directory name

Do not use special characters or spaces for the name of the program directory or the program folder.

Application file

From version 12.2 the program starts with the application file "LogiKalStarter.exe". You will find this file in the directory of your program installation.

Temporary directory

Data processing during program use needs a user-specific temporary directory.

The temporary directory must be located on a local data carrier and should have at least 80 GB of free disk space.
The path for the temporary directory is located at {Drive}:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\OFCAS\….
Deleting the data in the temporary directory is not recommended. It causes a longer loading time at the next program start to create new temporary data.

Attention!
In the case of single-user dongle and client server dongle licensing, the temporary directory is located on the local hard disk drive of the client. With the terminal server solution, the temporary directory is located on the local hard disk of the terminal server computer. A separate folder is created in the temporary directory for each user. For each user must be at least 80 GB of free disk space available on the terminal server.

Network sharing and Windows permissions

The server provides the program to the clients using network sharing.

Windows users need the permissions to read, write and change on:

the network drive on which the program is installed.
- Program network drives must contain a drive letter. Mapping a directory without a drive letter is not sufficient.
- Using the program application via a UNC path is not possible.
each file and folder in the program directory.
the temporary directory under C:\Users\AppData\Local\OFCAS <- Local User
the ORGATMP folder under C:\ORGATMP

To ensure stable access to the network drives, they must be declared as trusted. For more information contact your system administrator.
