Lifting/sliding systems with 90° corners

Contemporary buildings are characterized by an intensive indoor/outdoor relationship with huge windows.

A popular method is the usage of lift-slide systems that converge in a 90° corner.

Logikal 11.4 also supports you now with these construction variants.

Please note that the availability of this function depends on the selected profile system.

How it works

Create a lifting/sliding position with a profile system, that supports 90° corners.

Create a grid with two width fields and corresponding dimensions.

Then click "L/S/Dr Corner" on the left side. (See point 1 in the screenshot)

Select the profile for the 90° angle (See point 2 in the screenshot).

Click on the button "L/S/Dr Corner" (See point 3 in the screenshot).

In the following program dialogue select the option "Outer corner". (See point 4 in the screenshot).

Confirm the entry by clicking on the button "OK".

Click on the button "Close" at the bottom right (see point 5 in the screenshot).

Switch from the grid input to the "Element" program window.

Enter the value "2" for "Number of Leaves" and "Number of Tracks".

In the following dialogue you determine the leaves directions.

Set the options as shown in the screenshot above this text line and confirm it by clicking on the button "OK".

A new program window for the second field opens.

Enter the value "2" for "Number of Leaves" and "Number of Tracks".

In the following dialogue you define the leaves directions.

Set the options as shown in the screenshot above this text line.

Result

After that, proceed with all other profiles and articles as usual.

In the cross section drawing, the result looks as shown in the picture.
