What do you need the report for?

Before we start to develop a report, we recommend that you carefully define the requirements. Making changes afterwards is always time intensive.

The following list of questions can help you with your first considerations:

• For what do you want to use the report?
• For whom are you developing the report? Who is the target group?
• Which information should the report contain?
• In which order should the information be presented?
• In which design/layout should the report be implemented?
• Which output format do you need?
• Which settings and options do you need?

Note!
Logikal is delivered with many standard reports. You can use these as a base for your own reports. You can also reach a lot with report derivations. Further we recommend determining several simple reports than one extensive "overall" report.
