Escape doors

The production of escape doors increasingly poses new challenges for you and your team.

Standards and laws must be considered. Bill of quantities, certifications and signs are intended to guarantee that all quality features comply with the specifications. But that does not have to be complicated. We have been thinking about how we can make this less difficult for you. Based on the standards for emergency exits (EN 179) and panic exits (EN 1125), Logikal provides you smart tools that enable you to comply with legal requirements. Logikal can also help you with external monitoring. Notified body and certification numbers can be set as specifications.

How it works

Create a door position and select insertions.

A window opens with the settings for the leaf types.

Select under "Escape door function" the opening direction and master leaf.

Confirm your selection by clicking on the "OK" button.

Result

The escape door symbol is now displayed in the position drawing.

External monitoring

Escape doors and fire protection elements must always be monitored by an external institute. Logikal can also help you with this issue. In the global preferences, you find in the CE area input options for that. Here you can select the test institute performing the test and enter the certificate number.
