Variable Bottom Points

Example with 100 mm mullion offset and a slot width of 8 mm

Formula:
Delta X = (x2+x1)/2
Length Slot = (x2-x1)+8

Creating machinings

Go through the “CNC Database” to “CNC Machining” and select a system.

Create the profile machinings. It is very important to select under “Group Type” the option “End Machining”.

Creating a machining group

Under “CNC Database” -> “CNC Groups” select the system.

Click the “Add” button to create a new group.

Select the profile supplier, enter the group name and open the new group.

Enter the profiles. In the corresponding fields underneath enter the machinings that you created in step 1. Save the settings.

Using bottom points

In the Input of Element you may insert the bottom points.

Select in CNC machining the item “Bottom points”.

The window opens for mullion machining for bottom points.

Here, click on “Add Bottom Point”.

Select the machining group.

Click the “All the same” button and copy the bottom point of the individual bar to the other mullions.

The result in element entry then looks like this:
