This chapter explains how to select and configure door closers and drives for an element. Various filters are available to help narrow the selection to suitable articles. Configuration is carried out step by step using several input screens.
- Open the input of element.
- In the "Hardware" area, on the "Edit" tab, click "Hardware".
- Select the hardware field.
- Double-click "Closers/Drives".
- The "Closer/Drives" window opens.
- Limit the selection of door closers and drives by defining the required search criteria in the filter area. The following filters are available:
- Supplier
- Installation type
- Head installation, hinge side with mounting plate
- Head installation, opposite hinge with mounting plate
- Head installation, opposite hinge, direct installation
- Head installation, hinge side, direct installation
- Standard installation, hinge side with mounting plate
- Standard installation, hinge side, direct installation
- Standard installation, opposite hinge with mounting plate
- Standard installation, opposite hinge, direct installation
- Brand
- Information
- Type
- Overhead door closer
- Automtic swing door system
- Sensor strip
- Properties
- Article status
- Exclude articles on request
- Exclude discontinued articles
- Exclude reactivated articles
- Exclude repair articles
- Exclude special-order articles
- Stock articles only
- Select the required article from the article list.
- Under "General", click "without" if you do not want to use a door closer or drives.
- Click "Next" to define the finish of the selected door closer or drive in the next step.
- Click "Next" to select the mounting plate for the slide rail in the next step.
- Click "Next" to define the finish of the slide rail in the next step.
- Click "Next" to define the properties of the subsequent component.
