Certain profiles have standard machining (system machining) preconfigured by the supplier, which must be replaced by alternative machining processes in individual systems or production situations. The "Substitution" feature allows you to use other CNC groups without affecting the system database.

  • On the home screen, click "CNC" > "Substitutions":
  • Select the system for which you want to add substitutions:
  • In the next window, select "Display entries with machining only" in the top right corner to hide blank rows.
  • Double-click a profile number to control the respective automatic assignment of CNC groups:
  • In the column "Fixing (System database)", CNC groups from the system database are displayed, if they are set for fixing the profile.
  • Click the field of the "Fixing" column and select another CNC group which substitutes the preset group for fixing from the system database.
  • In the column "Machining (System)", CNC groups from the system database are displayed, if they are set for general machining of the profile.
  • Click the field of the "Machining" column and select another CNC group which substitutes the preset group for general machining from the system database.
  • In the column "Glass surround (System database)" CNC groups from the system database are displayed, if they are set for glass retainers for fire protection elements.

  • Click the field of the "Glass surround" column and select another CNC group to be used for glass retainers for fire protection elements.
  • Click the green check mark at the end of the selected line or press the Enter key to confirm the selection.
