User interface
After signing in to SimplyTag, you get directly to the explorer:
1 In the menu bar, you will find the SimplyTag sections.
2 This area lists any directories, projects, or elements that are uploaded or created manually in SimplyTag.
Symbols
- Projects transferred from the interface are displayed as a directory if they were transferred from program version 12.2 or if they were transferred from program version 12.4 without a premium partnership.
- Projects transferred from the interface are displayed as a project if they were transferred from program version 12.4 and with a premium partnership.
3 Enter a search term to find projects, directories or elements.
4 Click the gear icon to change the settings for SimplyTag or to sign out.
5 In this section you will find regulatory and legal information on the use of SimplyTag.
Open directory or project
- Click a directory or project to display the elements contained in the directory or to display the project overview.
Create a new directory
Note:
Additional subdirectories can be created within all directories. Premium partners also have the option of creating projects within a directory.
Create new project
Note:
A premium partnership is required to use this feature.
- In the explorer, click "New" > "Create project":
- In the next form, enter the data for the project:
- Project name
- Project number
- Description
- Start
- End
- Select the "Enter address" option to enter an address for the project:
- Address line 1
- Address line 2
- ZIP code
- City
- Country
- Click "Create". The project will then be listed in the explorer.
Create new element
Simple elements can be created directly in SimplyTag.
- In the explorer, click "New" > "Create element":
- In the next form, enter the data for the element:
- Element name
- Description
- Width
- Height
- Profile system
- Location of the element in the building
- Click "Create" to create the element. The element is displayed in the explorer:
Import CSV
Note:
A premium partnership is required to use this feature.

You can download a template and an example of a CSV import file under "Downloads".
- Click "Edit" to replace the selected CSV file with another one or delete it from the selection.
- Click "Import" to import the elements. A message will appear once the import has been successfully completed. The imported elements appear in the explorer as a project with the name of the CSV file:
Rename directory, project or element
- Click the three dots next to a directory, project or element and select "Rename" to change the name:
- In the next window, enter the new name and click "Rename".
Move directory, project or element
- Click the three dots next to a directory, project or element and select "Move":
- In the following window, choose the directory or project to which the directory, project or element or will be moved (1):
- Click "New directory" (2) if you want to move the element or directory to a directory that does not yet exist. Then enter a name for the new directory.
- Click "Move" (3).
- In the next window, click "Move" to confirm the process.
- Click "To the directory" to display the moved directory, project or element in the new directory.
Delete directory, project or element
Note:
Deleted elements and directories cannot be restored.
Click the three dots next to a directory, project or element and select "Delete" to delete them:
