Requirements

Note:

On the home screen, click "Settings" > "Additional settings":
Open the "Online configurators" tab:
In the "Shading" > "ROMAconnect" section, enter the following data:
- Application name
- ID
- Password
- Shipment ID
Under "Price", select the reference price for the ROMA products:
- Net purchase price
- Gross purchase price
- Recommended sales price
Under "Language," select the language for the configurator.
Click "OK" to save the settings.

Note:
Please contact ROMA support if any changes need to be made to the quotation texts.

Open the input of elements.
In the "Element" section, on the "View" tab, select "Shades" to display the shading in the position drawing:

In the project environment, on the "Start" tab, click "New" > "Position":
Enter the position data and select "Window/Door/Curtain wall position" under "Type":
To create the position, follow the steps described in the articles "Create position" and "Define fields in width and height".
In the "Element" section, on the "Edit" tab, click "ROMAconnect":
Select a product group and click "OK":

In the position drawing, select the field to which you want to add the selected product. To select multiple fields, hold down the CTRL key and click the required fields.
Click "Apply" on the ribbon.
In the next window, select the product status:
- In the "Quotation" product status, basic information about the product is required.
- In the "Order" product status, detailed information about the is required.
Choose the size of the box.
Select the type and colour of the sun shading.
Enter the offset and click "OK". The ROMAconnect configurator opens.
Click "Continue" to enter all the required information about the product in the different tabs:
Click "Finish" to transfer the product data to the position and close the configurator:
The product is shown in the position drawing.

Click "Sun shading splice" on the ribbon:
In the ruler, click on the dimension points at which the sun shading is to be split.
Click "Apply" on the ribbon:
Click "Apply" on the ribbon to confirm the sun shading splice.
Then proceed as described in the "Configure sun shading" section. The single fields of the split sun shading are each displayed in their own tab:

Open a position that contains a ROMA product.
In the "Element" section, on the "Edit" tab, click "Overview" to display the product configurations:
The next window lists all ROMA products that are integrated into this element:
Click "New" (1) to add more configurator elements to the position. Then proceed as described in the "Configure ROMA product in the input of elements" section.
Double-click an entry or click "Edit" (2) to edit the product status or offsets. The configurator opens. You can change final detailed settings for the product.

Attention!
If you change the product status from "Quotation" to "Order", this process cannot be undone.

Open a project.
In the project environment, on the "Start" tab, click "New" > "Position":
Enter the position data and select "ROMAconnect position" under "Type":
In the next window, click "Start configurator":
Select a product group and click "OK":
The ROMAconnect configurator opens. Choose whether the configuration is a quotation or an order.
Click "Continue" to enter all the required information about the product in the different tabs:
Click "Finish" to transfer the product data to the position and close the configurator:
The product data from the configurator is transferred to the created ROMAconnect position:
The product picture is displayed on the "Picture" tab:
Click "OK". The position from the ROMAconnect catalogue is displayed in the position list of the project environment:
