ROMA EOS

Requirements

Setup

  • On the home screen, click "Interfaces" > "EOS Settings":
  • In the next window, click "New".
  • On the first tab of the EOS configuration wizard, click "Next":
  • In the following tab "EOS Mode", enter "ROMAconnect" under "Mode Name" and select "ROMAconnect" under "Supplier":
  • Click "Next".
  • On the "General" tab, select the settings "Display gross price on printout" and/or "Sort articles by numbers" if necessary and click "Next":
  • Click "Ok" on the "Database" tab to complete the setup:

Define own address

To use the ROMA EOS, you need to define the own address. Read "Define own address" for further details.

Display EOS command in project environment

  • Open the project environment.
  • On the "Printouts" tab, click the gear icon on the right side of the ribbon:
  • Under "Order", select the option "EOS Order" and click "OK":
  • The command "EOS Order" appears on the "Printouts" tab:

Use EOS

  • Open the project environment.
  • On the "Printouts" tab, click "EOS Order":
  • Select the positions and click "Next". The following window opens:
  • Click "Estimation data" to adjust the data if necessary.
  • Under "Order colours at", select whether you want to purchase them from the profile supplier or from the coating company.
  • Click "Display" to open the EOS.

Orders

  • Open the "Orders" tab:
  • This is divided into three further tabs that show the status of the orders:
    1 In process
    2 Sent
    3 Delivered
  • Double-click an order number in the list on the left to edit the order. The following window opens:
  • In the "Order" area (4) you can adjust the following data for the order:
    • Remark
    • Commission
    • Date of delivery
    • Shipping address
    • Stock order / customer order
  • Click "Send" (5) to send the order.
  • If necessary, confirm the notification message:
  • Click "Save" (6) to save the changes to the order.
  • Click "Discard" (7) to not save the changes to the order and return to the previous window.
  • A successfully sent order will appear in the "Orders" > "Sent" tab:
  • You will receive an email from ROMA with a PDF attached documenting the receipt of the order.
