AutoCAD

Install Plugin for AutoCAD

With the plugin for AutoCAD, we provide you with certain program functions in AutoCAD. This includes, but is not limited to, user settings and the commands in the "Elevations" section. These are linked via an interface, which means that all changes are automatically applied to the respective Logikal project.

Requirements

  • Program version 12.4: AutoCAD 2024 or AutoCAD 2025
  • Program version 12.6: AutoCAD 2026
  • License for CAD Suite 2D
  • AutoCAD as the default application in the operating system for the file formats ". dwt", ".dxf" and ".dwg"

Installation

  • On the home screen, click "Settings" > "Additional settings":
  • Select the "Interfaces" tab.
  • In the "AutoCAD Plugin" section, click "Install":

Setup

  • Open AutoCAD.
  • Click the "Logikal plugin" tab and select the "Plugin configuration" command:
  • In the next window, select the program path from your Logikal installation and click "OK".
  • On the "Logikal plugin" tab, click "Log-on":
  • Log in with your Logikal username and password:
  • The Logikal features are now available in AutoCAD:
  • Read "CAD Suite 2D" for further details on the individual commands of the plugin.

Transfer layers to AutoCAD

  • On the home screen, click "Settings" > "Cross section".
  • Click "Layer" to draw elements on different layers:
  • If the layer does not already exist in AutoCAD, the elements are created in the colours defined in Logikal:

Import dimension style for AutoCAD

  • In the "Settings for cross section" window, under "Dimension style for AutoCAD-Transfer", select a .dxf file to import a dimension style:
