- On the home screen, click "User database" > "System articles":
- Select a supplier:
- The following window opens:
1 The article list at the top left lists all articles available from the supplier.
2 In the bottom left, the preview image of the selected article is displayed.
3 In the right section, the article's data is displayed.
Basic settings
- "Article is not selectable": Select this option if you don't want an article to be selectable in the program.
- "Apply custom description": Select this option to enter an alternative article description in the text field which is displayed on the printouts.
- "Compound": Select this option to assign the article to a compound.
Machining
- "Usable residual lengths": Select "Overwrite" to adjust the usable residual lengths. This option can only be used if more than one bar length is available in the article data.
- The following data is for your information only. Changes to the values can only be made in the article data.
- "Weight": Displays the weight of the article in kg/m.
- "Bar length 1": Displays the first bar length in mm.
- "Bar length 2": Displays the second bar length in mm.
- "Bar length 3": Displays the third bar length in mm.
- "Surface area": Displays the surface area in mm.
- "Visible surface": Displays the visible surface in mm.
- "Assembly place": Select an assembly place if required.
Estimation
- "Don't display in quotation": Select this option to hide the selected article in the quotation printout.
- "Discount group": This field shows the discount group of the article.
- Cost type assignment: Select a cost type for the article here.
- Product group: When importing certain articles, the product group is displayed here.
Prices
This section displays the available colours of the article and the respective prices.
Labour hours
Note:
In the input of elements, labour hours for the system article are calculated and listed separately from global labour hours.
- Right-click in the "Labour hours" section and select "New" from the context menu:
