Note:
Check your printer's settings before opening the plot menu.
Open the plot menu using one of the following methods:
- In the project centre, select a project and click "Cross section" on the ribbon. In the cross section, on the "Start" tab, click "Print".
- On the home screen, click "Programs" > "CAD". In CAD, click "File" > "Print / Plot".
Publish
- On the "Start" tab, click "Print" to print the page.
- Click "Save" to save the page. The following file formats are available:
- OCD
- EMF
- DXF
- DWG
- Click "AutoCAD" to open the page in AutoCAD.
- Click "ATHENA" to open the page in ATHENA.
Printer
- Under "Printer", select the device to print the page.
- Under "Orientation", choose whether to use portrait or landscape orientation.
- Under "Paper size", select the size of the page.
Design
Default
Under "Default", choose whether the cross sections are in black and white or colour. Read "Printer settings" for further details.
Scale
Under "Scale", define the size of the drawing on the page.
- Maximum norm.: Automatically calculated, largest possible scale, rounded to .0 or .5
- Largest: Automatically calculated, largest possible scale
- 1 : 1
- 1 : 5
- 1 : 10
- 1 : 20
- 1 : 50
- 1 : 100
Title blocks
- Under "Title block", select a title block.
- In the next window, enter the information you want to display in the title block:
- Click "OK". The title block is displayed on the page:
- Click "Label" to edit the text in the title block.
- Select the "Transparent title block" option to display the title block transparently in the workspace and place it in the background.
Show frame
- Select the "Show frame" option to display the print margins as a blue frame.
Display viewport border
- Select the "Display viewport border" option to display the viewport border as a dashed frame.

Viewport
For pre-printed sheets of paper, you can define a viewport.
Note:
Only drawing elements are considered in the viewport. Title blocks are not considered.
- On the "Start" tab, in the "Settings" group, click "Viewport".
- In the next window, enter the page margins for the viewport on the right side:
- The defined area is displayed with red dashed lines.
- Click "Apply".

Printer properties
Under "Printer properties" you can modify the settings of your printer/plotter.
Show and hide drawing elements
You can show and hide the individual drawing elements on the page.
- On the right side there is an outline of the individual drawing elements:
- Click the eye icon in front of the respective drawing element to show or hide it.
Page format
- Open the "Page" tab:
- Click "Rotate left" to rotate all drawing elements on the page 90° counterclockwise.
- Click "Rotate right" to rotate all drawing elements on the page 90° clockwise.
- Click "Centre" to place the drawing elements centred on the page at the largest possible scale.
- Under "Paper size (Page)", select the size of the page.
- Under "Alignment (Page)", choose whether to use portrait or landscape orientation.
Align drawings
- Open the "View" tab:
- Click "Zoom out" to zoom out of the page.
- Click "Zoom in" to zoom in on the page.
- Click "Reset" to centre the view of the page on the entire workspace.
- Click "Move page" to activate the "Move objects" command. Click on a single object and move it on the page by holding down the left mouse button.
- Click "Move objects" to activate the "Move page" command. Press and hold left mouse button to move the page.
- Click "Move perpendicularly" to move objects on the page only vertically or horizontally. Clicking on the function again deactivates it.
- Click "Grid" to align the objects using a drawing grid. You can define the drawing grid in the next window:
- Select the checkbox "Enabled".
- Enter values for the grid width and height.
- Click "OK". The grid dots are displayed on the page as grey dots.
