Assembly of curtain walls

The "Assembly II" tab lists the various labour hours for assembling curtain walls. The defined labour hours refer to specific production steps required for mullion joints, mullion profiles, mullion reinforcement sleeves, transom joints and transom profiles. In addition, labour hours can be defined for different types of curtain wall connections, such as rectangular, slanted and facet curtain wall connections:

Mullions and transoms

In the upper area, you can define general labour hours for mullions and transoms. The labour hours can be defined for length and area articles including conditions.

  • Mullion joint: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each mullion joint during assembly.
  • Mullion profile: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each mullion profile during assembly.
  • Mullion reinforcement sleeve: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each mullion reinforcement sleeve during assembly.
  • Transom joint: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each transom joint during assembly.
  • Transom profile: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each transom profile during assembly.

Curtain wall joints

  • Curtain wall connection 90°: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each rectangular curtain wall connection during assembly.
  • Curtain wall connection slant: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each slanted curtain wall connection during assembly.
  • Curtain wall connection facet: Define the labour hours to be calculated for each facet curtain wall connection during assembly.
