Additional articles

  • Open a position in the "Additional articles" section.

Add additional articles

  • On the "Edit" tab, click "Additional articles":
  • The following window opens:
  • Under "Supplier," select a supplier or select "Free article".

  • Select an article type. The following article types are available:
    • All
    • Profiles
    • Accessories
    • Accessories/Piece
    • Accessories/Length
    • User stock articles
  • Enter article numbers in the "Article number" dropdown menu or search for texts.
  • Segment assignment is only available for curtain walls. Read "Position segments" for further details.
  • The "unit" is based on the selection of article type and article and can be "piece" or "length".
  • Under "Location", define the positioning of the article on the element. You have the following options:
    • Bottom
    • Top
    • Left
    • Right
    • Left + Right
    • Left + Right + Top
    • Free
    • Perimeter
    • Not bottom
    • Not top
    • Not right
    • Not left
  • Enter the quantity. For length articles per metre, select the "per m" option.
  • Under "Colour selection", select how you want the element to be coated:
    • Like inside
    • Like outside
    • Single-colour
    • Dual-colour
  • Select the colour.
  • Under "Assignment estimation", select in which section of the estimation the article will be included:
    • Accessories
    • Accommodation allowance
    • Dismantling
    • Fabrication
    • Glass
    • Hardware
    • Installation
    • Insulation
    • Panel
    • Profiles
    • Scaffold
    • Sheet metals
    • Travel costs
    • Work preparation
  • Under "Assignment quotation", select how you want the article to be displayed on the quotation:
    • Display
    • Display, separately
    • Display, separately for the whole project
    • Display as option
    • Display as option, separately for the whole project
    • Don't display
  • Under "Labour hours", enter the labour hours for fabrication, installation and work preparation:

Edit additional article

  • Double-click the article you want to edit. The article settings window opens:

Copy additional article

  • Select the article(s) you want to copy.
  • Right-click the article and select "Copy" from the context menu to copy the article to the clipboard:
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Insert" to paste the article from the clipboard.

Delete additional articles

  • Select the article(s) you want to delete.
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Delete" > "Selected ones" to delete the selected articles:
  • Right-click to open the context menu and select "Delete" > "All" to delete all additional articles.

Import additional articles

Import from previous position

  • On the "Edit" tab, in the "Additional articles" group, click "Import from" and select the "Previous position" option:
  • All additional articles from the previously finished position are imported.

Import from project

  • On the "Edit" tab, in the "Additional articles" group, click "Import from" and select the "Job" option:
  • Select the project.
  • Select the position from which the additional articles will be imported:
  • Click "Select position" to start the import.

Import from file

  • On the "Edit" tab, in the "Additional articles" group, click "Import from" and select the "File" option:
  • Select the import file containing the additional articles. You can download an Excel template >> here <<.
  • Files of the type ".xls" and ".xlsx" can be imported. Under "File type", select the format for your file:
  • In the next window, the import file is checked for correctness and automatically supplemented with any necessary entries. Corresponding information is displayed:
  • Click on "OK" to start the import.
